Organizational cultures can be classified into giver, taker, and matcher cultures. Do people in your organization routinely give and help
others without expecting anything in return (givers)? Or are folks likely to take as much as possible from others, while minimizing their
own contributions (takers)? Or would people only help those who offer help in return (matchers)? The difference in group norms can
have implications for firm performance. Research reveals that how much people help each other can predict team effectiveness,
top-line and bottom-line metrics, customer service and performance quality in a wide range of industries.
