Theme for this year’s IIMINENCE is HR REVAMP. The world as we know it today is much different than it used to be before the pandemic hit.
“HR leaders as strategic partners have the potential to bestow strategic advantage to organizations. The re-organization and re-orientation of the HR function requires capable HR professionals to navigate business environments which are characterised by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. The Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM) at IIM Indore is a step in this direction to produce HR leaders that imbibe the depth of HRM topped with a well-grounded understanding of HRM’s linkages with other organizational functions.
In line with IIM Indore’s mission of being a contextually relevant business school with world-class academic standards, the PGP-HRM is structured to equip participants with the knowledge, skill and attitude required to be future leaders. To ensure an all-encompassing development of our participants, we pay close attention to this program’s structuring and delivery. This two-year programme gives the students a deep dive in subjects related to HRM in addition to relevant core courses offered to our first year Post Graduate Programme in Management. In the second year, participants have a wide range of electives in the niche areas of HRM as well as choice to take electives from other areas of specialization. While this programme focusses on courses driven by data and analytics, it also tends to the softer aspects by focusing on qualitative methods and critical thinking skills.
To strengthen the industry-connect, participants have Industry Interface Project and get certifications on psychometric instruments as well as Human Relations Lab. This programme provides industry with data driven and dynamic HR leaders with refined understanding of interdisciplinarity linkages in organizational ecosystem. We invite all stakeholders to engage with this programme for a mutually enriching experience. ”
